General Information
- All games will be played at Veteran’s Park in Fox Lake
- Tournament will consist of pool play & playoffs.
- Teams will be guaranteed 4 games, weather permitting.
- Pool play games may end in ties.
- For complete Round Robin and Pool Play tie-breaking rules, please see the tie-breaking document. The web site will list the standings in the order of the tie-breaking criteria.
- Winning percentage (in case of a tie game, a tie counts as a ½ win and a ½ loss in the calculation of winning percentage)
- Head to head play
- Record vs. common opponents
- Highest average run differential – maximum run differential is 8 runs in a game
- Lowest runs against average
- Highest average runs scored – maximum is 10 runs per game.
- In case of inclement weather, tournament format/minimum number of games may be adjusted.
- To keep prices down we will NOT be using patched umpires. This is an in-house all-star tournament, and the goal is to get the girls out playing softball. Remind your parents this is not the Olympics!

If spectators become an issue, the umpire will provide a warning to the individuals. The second time a spectator of the same team becomes an issue, the umpire will warn the coach to control spectators. If the spectators of the same team continue with bad sportsmanship, the team will forfeit the game. The game is called and over. There are two attempts by the umpire to control fans of the same team before the forfeit happens.
- There will be prizes for the first and second place team in each division which will be given out immediately after the championship game.
